EXHIBITION OPENING: LOS 80. AUTONOMÍA DE LA PINTURA EN EL CENTRO DE ARTE CONTEMPORÁNEO AÍNSA – SOBRARBE – 15 JUNE 2024

This Saturday, June 15th at 12:00 a.m., the exhibition “Los 80: Autonomía de la pintura” will open at the Contemporary Art Center of Aínsa-Sobrarbe, Huesca.

This show highlights the talent of the young generation that returned to color, artists who, in the creative fervor of the 80s, were able to capture and reflect the cultural and social changes of their time. Through works by Juan Antonio Aguirre, Carlos Alcolea, José Manuel Broto, Chema Cobo, Carlos Franco, Ferran Garcia Sevilla, Xavier Grau, Menchu Lamas, Antón Lamazares, Víctor Mira, Juan Navarro Baldeweg, Antón Patiño, Charo Pradas, Manolo Quejido, Santiago Serrano and José María Sicilia, we explore how these creators influenced the contemporary art scene.

The exhibition will remain open until January 12th, 2025.
