INAUGURACIÓN BERNARDÍ ROIG EN GALERIA KEWENING, PALMA DE MALLORCA – 20 MARCH 2021
The artist Bernardí Roig inaugurates tomorrow, March 20, the exhibition Mehr Licht! at Kewenig in Palma de Mallorcaon the occasion of Art Palma Brunch.
The Mallorcan artist’s project takes as its starting point the last words of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Mehr Nicht!, although Roig transforms them into Mehr Licht!. In the exhibition, light has become a body with the capacity to empty space, occupying it without filling it. It is no longer about filling space, but about emptying space and the gaze an instant before closing one’s eyes so that they may be filled with vertigo.
The exhibition will be on view until September 11, 2021.
