ART & HEALTH
The Galeria Miguel Marcos presents Art & Health, a charitable exhibition organized jointly with the cultural management company Bonart, in collaboration with the Hospital Clínic Barcelona and with the support of the Lluís Coromina Isern Foundation.
The initiative is conceived as a space for dialogue between contemporary creation and collective responsibility, where art engages with science and research to raise social awareness and promote community care. At this intersection of artistic sensitivity and scientific knowledge, culture is established as a key driver of social transformation and collective progress.
Launched in 2025, Art & Health brings together artists, institutions, and the public in support of the PUZZLE project, dedicated to research and the improvement of treatments for schizophrenia at Hospital Clínic Barcelona. Proceeds from the sale of the works are fully allocated to the project, helping to strengthen its research work and foster advances with a direct impact on health and quality of life.
The exhibition features works by renowned artists such as Malka Aversa (Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1994), Eduard Bigas (Palafrugell, Girona, 1969), Joan Brossa (Barcelona, 1919–1998), Renato Costa (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 1974), Dabao (Shandong, China, 1975), Carlos Franco (Madrid, 1951), Víctor Mira (Larache, Morocco (former Spanish colony), 1949–Breitbrunn am Ammersee, Munich, 2003), and Cristóbal Ortega (Alhaurín de la Torre, Málaga, 1970).
