STEPHAN BALKENHOL, MIQUEL BARCELÓ, DENNIS HOLLINGWSORTH, GLEN RUBSAMEN , MICHELANGELO PISTOLETTO, JULIÃO SARMENTO, JULIAN SCHNABEL

The current collective exhibition of paintings and sculptures presents some of the most relevant figures of the world art scene. From the novel interpretation of the landscape, at once fierce and dying, carried out by Glen Rubsamen (1957); until the sculptures of Stephan Balkenhol (1957), whose wooden works disdain the classical conception of sculpture, presenting us to the common man on pedestals previously associated with heroes. We will also see works by the always impressive and recognized Miquel Barceló (1957); or the American Julian Schnabel (1951), perhaps the most exposed and successful American artist of his generation. Without forgetting the Póvera art of Michelangelo Pistoletto (1933); the rhythmic abstraction of the least known in our lands Dennis Hollingsworth (1956); or the semi-figurative and minimalist paintings of the Portuguese Julião Sarmento (1948).
