MP&MP Rosado

The artistic project of Manuel Pedro and Pablo Miguel Rosado (San Fernando, Cádiz, 1970), better known as MP&MP Rosado, explores the construction of self in the Contemporary World, understood as an individual and collective entity which is built in relation to social space.

Influenced by Michel de Certeau's theories, their work consists on approaching critically both the construction and perception of social space. By using the sculptural language, their work reflects how the term “place” is affected by contemporary social realities, including Politics and Economics.

Their work forms part of museums and public collections such as Colección de Arte Contemporáneo “La Caixa” (Barcelona, Spain), CAAC Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo (Seville, Spain), Fnac - Fond National d'Art Contemporain (Puteaux, France), Fundación Coca-Cola España (Madrid, España), Fundación Marcelino Botín (Santander, Spain), MUSAC Museo de Arte Contemporáneo (León, España) and Patio Herreriano Museo Español de Arte Contemporáneo (Valladolid, Spain).
