Juan Navarro Baldeweg

Juan Navarro Baldeweg (Santander, Spain, 1939) is a well-known artist and architect whose early sculptures have been references for generation of Spanish artists.

Although he is better known as a sculptor, Navarro Baldeweg is also an outstanding painter. His painting language is defined as an abstract expressionism influenced by both classicism and geometry. Among his most relevant exhibitions, highlight his anthological exhibition in the MEAC Museo Español de Arte Contemporáneo in 1986. This exhibition summarizes common features based on the rigorous methodology that we appreciate throughout his entire career.
